The Latonia Ave project was an 1899 traditional two-story building that needed a complete upgraded facelift. The house had great bones but needed to be opened up in key areas and reconfigured for a more modern lifestyle.
The living room was opened up to the newly designed kitchen with another new wider opening from the side door entrance that led to the upstairs, which really invited more light into the home and created an upgraded farm house vibe.
The rear entrance was reconfigured slightly as well to remove an entry way into the bedroom by opening up a new doorway into the home without having to walk through the bedroom. This allowed a more natural flow into the rear of the home with a new lighted hallway with a guard rail into the basement.
All bedrooms and bathrooms were updated and upgraded with all new drywall, ceilings, paint, hardware, cabinets, lighting, and flooring to match the farmhouse style throughout the home. The home was equipped with all new stainless steel appliances and had the front and side doors painted dark green to make them pop.
